PESHAWAR (92 News) – Justice Qaisar Rasheed of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) has summoned Federal Minister for Petroleum Omar Ayub Khan and Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) Chairman Uzma Adil Khan over the petrol crisis. Hearing the case, Justice Qaisar Rasheed remarked that no one is bothering about unavailability of petrol. “The government forms a committee when it wants to shelve the matter,” he remarked, while expressing his indignation at the committee formed by the OGRA. He remarked that it is pity that they ministers attend the meetings and gey perks, but the matter remains unresolved. Raising questions to the performance of the NAB, Justice Qaisar Rasheed remarked it was not NAB’s job to take interest in only cases of its choice. The court also summoned the NAB director general. Meanwhile, the court took notice of the flour crisis and sought a detailed report from the Food secretary.
