Petrol price increased by Rs2.13 per litre

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The petrol price has been increased by Rs2.13 per litre on Tuesday.

According to the notification issued by Finance Ministry, after hiking the prices of petrol, it now costs Rs110.69.

Meanwhile, the price of high-speed diesel has been increased by Rs1.79, taking it to Rs112.55, while light diesel costs Rs79.68. Kerosene oil now costs Rs81.89 after an increase of 89 paisas.

The prices will be enforced for 15 days starting June 16.

Earlier, the Oil and Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has recommended to hike petrol price by Rs4.20 per liter on Monday.

According to the details garnered, the Ogra also proposed to increase the prices of high speed diesel by Rs3.50.

Meanwhile, the Ogra has forwarded a summary to the Petroleum Division seeking upward revision of fuel prices.

A litre of petrol is currently being sold for Rs108.56, while that of high-speed diesel for Rs110.69.
