Petrol price likely to be increased by Rs 4.16 per liter

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Petroleum Ministry has sent a summary to the government, suggesting an increase in the prices of POL products. A proposal has been floated to increase the price of petrol by Rs 4.16 per liter. It has also been recommended to raise the prices of high-speed diesel, light-diesel and high-octane by Rs 4.29, Rs 12.53 and Rs 12.47 per liter respectively. It has also been recommended that 17 percent GST should also be implemented on kerosene oil and light-diesel. The Finance Ministry will finally decide on the prices of the POL products to be implemented from February 1.
