Petrol price likely to witness meagre increase
According to official sources, the petrol price will be increased by Rs0.11 to Rs249.21 per litre.
On the other hand, the price of high-speed diesel will decrease by Rs2.11 to Rs247.58 per litre.
Moreover, there is a proposal to decrease the price of kerosene by Rs3.23 per litre and that of light-speed diesel by Rs0.89 per litre.
The revised prices will take effect on October 1 after the approval from the prime minister, sources said.
