Petroleum products prices likely to increase by Rs9 per liter

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prices of petroleum products are likely to increase by Rs9 per liter from November 1, said sources in the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

There are chances of an Rs7 increase in kerosene oil per liter, Rs 9 in high speed diesel per liter, Rs6 in light-speed diesel per liter and Rs8 in petrol per liter.

The reason of price hike is said to be the depreciation of the rupee and the rise in the value of the dollar.

The OGRA will send the final summary of the new prices to the Petroleum Division on October 30. The new prices will be applicable from November 1.
