PHC quashes treason case against PML-N leader Capt (retd) Safdar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Wednesday quashed the treason case against PML-N leader Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar.

Justice La'al Jan Khattak and Justice Musarrat Hilali heard the case. The court had reserved the verdict.

The treason case was registered against Capt (retd) Safdar for issuing a statement against the institutions.

Meanwhile, the PML-N leaders have expressed jubilation over the verdict. They said that if someone wants to witness justice, he should visit the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
