PIA special flight to bring back stranded Pakistanis from Istanbul

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Under instructions from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, PIA has decided to bring back Pakistanis stranded at Istanbul Airport. Abdul Akbar, the Foreign Office spokesman, said that Pakistani Embassy in Turkey was taking steps to safe shifting of the stranded countrymen. He said that the prime minister had directed the Pakistani Embassy to look after the Pakistanis properly. The spokesman said that the Turkish Airline had promised to give a big plane for Pakistanis. “The stranded Pakistanis are in contact with the Pakistani Embassy and the ambassador is monitoring the matter,” he said. PIA Chairman Kazim Sehgal said that a Boeing 777 would be sent to Istanbul.
