PIA special flight carrying 250 passengers leaves New Jersey for Lahore

NEWARK (92 News) – The fourth PIA special charter flight carrying 250 passengers has been left Newark, city in New Jersey for Lahore on Friday. In his tweet, Pakistan Ambassador to US Asad Majeed confirmed that the fourth PIA special charter flight carrying 250 passengers left Newark for Lahore. The passengers were seen off by Consul General Ayesha Ali and officers and staff of Pakistan Consulate New York. Consul General Ayesha Ali bid farewell to passengers from Airport. The Consulate also reviewed the steps taken at the airport to protect passengers from any harm of the virus. On the occasion, Consul General Ayesha Ali said that the return of Pakistanis is the first priority of the government and the embassy. She also said that a special flight from New Jersey to Islamabad will be operated on June 1. In addition to this, she said that this will be the fifth flight from the United States to Pakistan. Earlier on 16th May; Over 250 stranded Pakistanis have returned to Islamabad from Iraq through a special Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight.
