PIA starts regular air service to Najaf

KARACHI (92 News) – The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has started a regular air service to Najaf.

PIA's first scheduled flight PK219, carrying 91 passengers reached Najaf. Iraqi Ambassador Hamid Abbas Lufta and CEO PIA Air Marshal Arshad Malik also travelled to Najaf.

At the airport, the Governor Najaf, the Pakistani ambassador, the head of Iraqi civil aviation and religious leaders greeted the passengers.

Governor Najaf said that they will serve PIA and Pakistani visitors to the fullest, efforts are being made to simplify the visa system so that more people can benefit from the visit.
