PIMS doctor injured in firing

ISLAMABAD: (92 News) - A doctor of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was injured when unidentified gunmen opened fire on him on Saturday. A spokesman for PIMS said that Dr Shahid, head of the Cardiology Department, is in critical condition and has been admitted to ICU. “He is on ventilator and all-out efforts are being made to save his life," he added. He said that the government should give them weapons if it cannot protect them.
