Pink eye outbreak: Punjab govt announces closure of schools tomorrow

LAHORE (92 News) - The Punjab government announced to close schools due to the pink out outbreak across the province from Thursday. 

The schools will reopen on October 2 (Monday). 

As a result, all government and private schools will remain closed on Thursday. Teachers have been directed to examine the children at the main gate from Monday. Students contracting pink eye will not be allowed to enter schools. 

The people affected by the pink eye disease have crossed 4,000 and an emergency-like situation has emerged in hospitals across the province.
