LAHORE (92 News) – Pir of Sial Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi will visit Data Darbar today (Saturday). Pir Khawaja Hameeduddin Sialvi has left for Lahore at 10am from Sial Shareef and will reach Lahore via Pindi Bhattian. Thousands of people, including religious scholars are accompanying him, while caravan from other cities including Samundri, Chiniot, Tandliawala, Jaranwala, Jhang and Toba Tek Singh will also reach Lahore to participate in the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat conference. The Pir of Sial Sharif had postponed the January 13 visit to Data Darbar in the wake of the Kasur and Sargodha incidents. The Sargodha-based spiritual leader has been demanding the resignation of the provincial law minister over his controversial remarks about religious minority Ahmedi community with regard to Khatm-e-Nabuwwat. He said the protestors would stay at Data Darbar till Rana Sanaullah resigns. It is pertinent here to mention that Pir Sialvi had called for the resignation of Rana Sanaullah. Sialvi had also warned Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take resignation from Rana Sanaullah or show him the door. Earlier on December 10, the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) had suffered a major blow after five lawmakers, three MPAs and two MNAs, submitted their resignations to Pir Sialvi.
