Pir Kaleem, Safdar Tarar elected SCBA president & secretary

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pir Kaleem Khursheed and Safdar Hussain Tarar of the Asma Jahangir’s Independent Group were elected president and secretary general of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) respectively. Pir Kaleem Khursheed bagged 213 votes, while his rival Hafiz Abdur Rahman of Professional Group led by Hamid Khan got 187 votes. On the other hand, Safdar Tarar of the Independent Group received 264 votes, while Mian Aslam of Professional Group got 120 votes.
