It’s pity that Britain preferring individuals to state, says Nasser Janjua

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua has said that it is pity that Britain is giving importance to personalities instead of a state.

He was talking to a seven-member British Parliamentary delegation which called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Janjua stressed the need for further improving the understanding between the two countries to strengthen these ties and explore more areas of cooperation. Besides discussing regional and global issues significant for both Pakistan and UK, the visiting delegation exchanged views on matters pertaining to further enhancing bilateral cooperation.

Welcoming the delegation, the National Security Advisor said that Pakistan highly values its relationship with UK which has a strategic character.

The delegation specially broached the subject of the MQM founder, relationship with India, Kashmir dispute and India’s threat to stop water for Pakistan.

Janjua elaborately explained how UK is, unfortunately, preferring individuals to state relationship.

He also talked about some Baloch Leaders who find their safe abode in the UK. Referring to India, Janjua explained how the fragile security architecture of the region is fast becoming under stress and has started to suffer of serious imbalance.

Janjua also urged UK to have a balanced regional approach as the imbalance in the region is becoming critical which needs to be retrieved and restored immediately.

The delegation leader said that UK understands and acknowledges the role of Pakistan against terrorism.

The delegation members also appreciated the resilience of Pakistani nation against terrorism and urged a desire to strengthen and diversify relations with Pakistan to face the challenges of future together.
