Played and will continue to play mediatory role in Afghan peace process: FM Qureshi

DOHA, Qatar (92 News) – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan had played and continue to play a mediatory role in the Afghan peace process with a good intent. Addressing the inaugural session of the Intra-Afghan Dialogue on Saturday, he said that the world should keep the aspect of repatriation of the Afghan peace process in the mind. Earlier in a tweet, he said that it was historic day for the Afghan peace process. "The flag of Pakistan has long maintained peace not war is the answer. We are proud to champion a partnership for peace and move forward with faith and resolve that will not be deterred. Pakistan will continue to be a force for a stable and prosperous region," he added.
