FAISALABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was the only political party that never made hollow claims, rather proved its worth by delivering in public welfare and development sectors. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of International Airport extension project in Faisalabad on Saturday, he said that the government has delivered in every sector of the national economy and there was an unending list of development project. The prime minister said the extension project has been completed at a cost of one a half billion rupees with in stipulated time, adding that it will not only play an important role in boosting economic activities but also create more job opportunities. Abbasi said: “118 flights operate from the airport weekly and directed Civil Aviation Authority to make planning for further extension of the airport, adding that Aviation is the backbone of modern economy, hoping that the Civil Aviation will play a leading role in industrial development of the country. Adviser to Prime Minister on Aviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed, Minister for Health Saira Afzal Tarar, Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal and State Minister for Textiles, Haji Akram Ansari were also present on the occasion.
