ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan will continue to be in the forefront in all UN activities and debates.\
Talking to Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi in Islamabad today, he directed her to continue to ensure that Pakistan's voice on peace, security and development issues is based.
The PM will be addressing the UN General Assembly session this year in July, in which he will highlight Pakistan's priorities and foreign policy; the session will mark the UN's 70th founding anniversary this year which gives special importance to this year's session. He would also be holding bilateral meetings with several heads of state and government from friendly countries. Pakistan today is the largest troop contributing country to UN peacekeeping operations in the world.
