PM announces comprehensive package to deal coronavirus: Firdous

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has termed that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan announced comprehensive package to deal with challenge posed by coronavirus. In a series of tweets on Wednesday, the special assistant said it is a comprehensive and the best package to deal with challenge posed by coronavirus keeping in view the problems of different segments of the society.
Multi-billion economic package
She also said that the government’s multi-billion economic package reflects its compassion for the poor and the nation. She pointed out that under this package, two hundred billion rupees have been allocated for the laborer class and 150 billion rupees for the poor.
100 billion rupees refund to exporters
Firdous Ashiq Awan said 100 billion rupees refund to exporters will help the export industry and it will have positive impact on the economy. Another 100 billion rupees for the agriculture and small and medium enterprise will help improve their productivity.
50 billion rupees to Utility Stores
The special assistant said allocation of 50 billion rupees to the Utility Stores is aimed at providing quality items to the people at reduce rates. 280 billion rupees have been earmarked for the official procurement of wheat. She said petroleum prices have been reduced by 15 rupees.
