PM approves enhancing loan amount under Kamyab Jawan Program

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved enhancing the loan amount under the Kamyab Jawan Program. The approval was granted during his meeting with Finance Adviser Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh and Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Tuesday. Now the budding entrepreneurs can get a loan upto Rs 25 million instead of Rs5 million. The prime minister also decided to reduce the applicable mark-up rate from eight percent. Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that young entrepreneurs will be encouraged more as soon the lockdown is eased. “The youth is a precious asset of the country and the government will invest more in them. Young people have a greater role in strengthening country's economy,” he said.
