PM, army chief phone NA speaker, wishes for his speedy recovery

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday telephoned National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser and inquired about his health. The prime minister telephoned the NA speaker and wished for his speedy recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. Asad Qaiser told the premier that he is feeling better and his health is improving. PM Imran Khan also inquired about the health of his [Asad Qaiser] children who were also tested positive of the coronavirus. On the other hand, the army chief also telephoned Asad Qaiser and prayed for his early recovery. Asad Qaiser thanked Army Chief for his wishes and prayers. Earlier on May 1, NA Speaker Asad Qaiser, his son and daughter have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus. This news was confirmed by his brother Abdul Waheed. He said that they all were self-isolated and quarantine in the house. Later, Asad Qaiser took his twitter and announced, “I have just been tested COVID 19 positive and I have quarantined myself in house.” He urged the nation to take precautions and sought their prayers. The NA speaker said that he had symptoms of fever for the last two or three days but now he is feeling well. He also confirmed that his son and daughter have also been tested positive for the virus.

Earlier, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail confirmed that he had tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). “I have just been tested Covid 19 positive, Allah Kareem inshallah will fight it out. Imran Khan thought us to fight out the most difficult in life and I believe this is nothing against what we r prepared for. May Allah give strength to fight this Pandemic inshallah,” he said in his tweet. It is pertinent to emtnion here that the Sindh governor visited the different cities and areas consisting hundreds of crowd. He also examined the Ehsaas Kafaalat centers of different districts. Meanwhile, the political leaders telephoned Imran Ismail and inquired about his health. On the other hand, the Corona test will be conducted of all the persons have met with the governor.
