PM assigns task of early conduct of local bodies elections in Punjab to Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has assigned Mian Mahmood Rasheed to hold early local body elections in Punjab.

Punjab Minister for Local Government Mian Mahmood Rasheed called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. On this occasion, the prime minister directed to complete the legal process for holding early local body elections in Punjab and to get the Punjab Local Government Act passed by the Assembly soon.

Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed gave a detailed briefing to the prime minister regarding the preparations for the local body elections and informed him about the salient features of the Local Government Act 2021.

The prime minister also directed the provincial minister to organize events related to Insaf Health Card and Ehsas programe.
