PM assures govt will play its role in resolving Sindh's issues

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the federal government will play its role in resolving the issues of Sindh. A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) called on PM Khan and discussed problems faced by Sindh province especially its big cities such as Karachi and Hyderabad. In his remarks, PM Imran Khan said the government is cognizant of the problems faced by the people of Sindh and it will play its role in resolving them.
PM decides to form committee headed by Imran Ismail
During the meeting, It was decided that a committee headed by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail would be formed in order to enhance coordination between PTI and MQM at the provincial level regarding development projects. It was also decided in the meeting that hurdles in the way of revival and completion of Karachi circular railway will be removed on priority basis. The meeting was attended by Minister for Information and Technology Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Law Minister Farogh Naseem and MNA Syed Aminul Haq, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Naeemul Haq and MNA Malik Muhammad Amir Dogar. It is pertinent to mention here that the premier will also perform the ground breaking of Hyderabad University next month.

He said while talking to Governor Sindh Imran Ismail who called on him today. They discussed issues relating to the problems being faced by Sindh people. The PM said he fully understands the sufferings of the people of the province. The governor took the prime minister into confidence on political situation in the province. Imran Ismail also briefed the premier on situation in the aftermath of JIT report. PM Imran Khan will also visit Sindh for one-day official visit on January 25. After finalizing the schedule of the prime minister, Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) leaders called a meeting in Ghotki. However, GDA MPA Ali Gohar Khan Mahar has invited PM Imran Khan for a visit. Fawad Chaudhry is expected to head for meetings with leaders of the GDA and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in Karachi and other areas.
