PM can’t abolish 72-year-old polluted system in 15 months: Firdous

GUJRANWALA (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan cannot abolish the 72-year-old polluted system in 15 months. Talking to the media after inaugurating the newly constructed visitors’ lounge at Gujranwala RPO Office on Saturday, he said that the government is bringing the police out of the traditional thana culture. “The real owners of the country are 95 percent people,” she said. She said that the family spending the national exchequer lavishly on itself is living in London now. “This family gets their children educated abroad and come to Pakistan for only politics. They go abroad by adopting self-created narrative when they are not in the power,” she said. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that TTs were exposing the wrongdoings of the Sharif family. “The Sharifs made their Model Town residence a source of money laundering,” she maintained. She said that the former rulers had given the government record deficit. The adviser said that the Punjab police would strengthen the people’s relations with the prime minister. She said that the establishment of the Digital Police Helpline is good sign. “We will make all-out effort to introduce reforms in the police,” she said.
