PM chairs high-level meeting on Yemen issue

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss whether Pakistan should join the Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen to quell the Houthis. The meeting at Prime Minister House was attended by military’s top brass comprising all services chiefs, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Prime Minister's Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Chaudhry. Overall situation of the region in wake of Yemen offensive was also discussed in detail.
