PM, Chinese FM Wang Yi discuss bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad today and discussed bilateral relations. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Pakistan's Ambassador to China Masood Khalid were also present on the occasion. Both the leaders discussed matters of mutual relation and corporation in diversified fields. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who is on a three-day visit to Pakistan, also met with PM Khan. The meeting was attended by the information minister and foreign minister. Earlier yesterday, Wang also held meetings with Qureshi and the army chief. Qureshi assured his Chinese counterpart that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would remain a priority for the government, while Wang rejected the impression that CPEC projects were compounding Pakistan’s debt burden.
