PM, COAS discuss country’s security situation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa. During the meeting, the matters pertaining to situation along the eastern and western borders came under discussion. They also discussed the overall country’s situation including the security situation. The army chief also briefed the prime minister about operational preparedness of Pakistan’s armed forces and anti-terrorism operations undergoing in the country. PM Khan while expressing satisfaction over professional preparations of the armed forces said that Pakistan will continue to play its role for regional peace.
PM , COAS congratulate all on successful conduct of PSL
On March 18, PM Imran Khan and  the army chief have congratulated all on successful organization of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The prime minister said that congratulations to PCB, all the organizers and security forces for holding a successful PSL extravaganza in Pakistan.

The prime minister said t hat congratulations to Quetta Gladiators, their manager and my friend Viv Richards on their win. “InshaAllah, the next PSL will be held entirely in Pakistan,” he declared.
COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa calls on PM Imran Khan
Earlier on Mar 11, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM House. They discussed internal and external security situation as well professional matters.

Earlier on Jan 24, PM Imran Khan met with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa to discuss security situation of the country. The COAS also attended a high-level meeting on visa reforms at the Prime Minister’s office chaired by PM Imran Khan.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood QUreshi, Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Investigation Agency officials and Nadra officers were also present in the meeting.
