ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday to discuss matters related to internal and external security of the country, especially regarding Indian interference in the country's matters. As per reports, the two held consultations regarding raising the issue of Indian funding to Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) in the upcoming United Nations General Assembly session in July. The decision to take world powers into confidence comes following emergence of proofs of Indian meddling in Pakistan and Indian PM Narendra Modi’s confession. Matters relating to Operation Zarb-e-Azb as well as return, rehabilitation and resettlement of Temporarily Displaced Persons also came under discussion in the meeting. Earlier, Modi, during a recent visit to Dhaka, acknowledged that Indian forces had a role in the war that created Bangladesh in 1971.
