PM, COAS discuss overall security situation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here at Prime Minister Office on Wednesday. According to the details, security issues were discussed during the meeting. The army chief briefed the Prime Minister on overall security situation in the country. The matters pertaining to overall situation of the country’s sovereignty was also reviewed in the meeting.
On May 15, the army chief called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad.

According to the PM Office, matters relating to the security of the country were discussed during the meeting.

Both the leaders exchanged views on the regional peace of the country and professional matters of the Pakistan Army also discussed in the meeting.
PM, COAS discuss policy to deal with any Indian aggression
On April 11, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan at the PM’s office in Islamabad. According to the PM’s office spokesman, both the leaders discussed different affairs pertaining to security of the country. The COAS informed the prime minister about latest developments on all the security related matters.
The strategy, to deal with any possible Indian aggression, was also discussed during the meeting. Earlier on April 4, Prime Minister Imran Khan met with COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa. During the meeting, the matters pertaining to situation along the eastern and western borders came under discussion. They also discussed the overall country’s situation including the security situation. The army chief also briefed the prime minister about operational preparedness of Pakistan’s armed forces and anti-terrorism operations undergoing in the country. PM Khan while expressing satisfaction over professional preparations of the armed forces said that Pakistan will continue to play its role for regional peace.
