ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan contacted Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and summoned him to Islamabad on Monday. According to the sources, the prime minister approached the MQM-P leader and assured the disgruntled coalition partner that its valid demands will be fulfilled. During the conversation, Khalid Maqbool raised his reservations in front of the prime minister who assured that the party’s issues will be addressed. The premier also declared the MQM-P party as the good coalition party. On the occasion, the MQM-P convener said that his party has no intention to quit federal government. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen also contacted with Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui. Earlier today, a delegation of the PTI called on the MQM leaders at Bahadarabad. The delegation tried to reconcile with the MQM leaders who remained adamant to the demand of provision funds. Taking to the media after the meeting, Minister for Planning Asad Umar said that the matters are resolved through talks, not parting the ways. “We will redress the complaints of the MQM,” he said. He said that the prime minister would visit Karachi in February and inaugurate the projects. “We discussed the projects started by the federal government. We also discussed some important matters,” he added. Asad Umar said that work on big projects would be started soon. “Successful youths are being given loans under the Kamyab Jawan Program. Jobs are available in the government as well as private sector,” he added. The PTI delegation conveyed the message of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the MQM leaders. “We will support the government, but will not accept the ministry till implementation of our demands,” he said.
