ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakariya has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif could not address the US-Islamic summit due to an acute shortage of time.

In a weekly briefing on Thursday, he said that Pakistan is a supporter of an Islamic alliance. “King Salman had to apologize when the PM could not address the summit due to shortage of time,” he maintained.

About Kulbhushan Jhadav, the FO spokesman said that they had not lost the case and Indian claims are wrong.

“According to Kashmiri leader Agha Roohallah, India is forming Daesh to defame struggle for independence in Occupied Kashmir,” he said.

Nafees Zakariya said that they would open the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate after the flag meeting. “The CPEC is a project of economic progress, which will benefit the entire region,” he said.
