PM didn't attend NSC meeting on opposition's reservations: Speaker Office

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Speaker Office has clarified that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not participate in a meeting of the National Security Committee on the reservations of the opposition.

In a statement on Friday, the National Assembly Secretariat said that Prime Minister Imran Khan wanted to attend the meeting.

"Reservations of some opposition members were sent to the National Assembly Secretariat. The prime minister was duly informed and as a result, he decided not to attend the meeting," the statement said.

The government and opposition members were blaming each other for absence of Prime Minister Imran Khan from the National Security Committee.
