ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday expressed reservations over the selection of Pakistani cricket team during the series against Australia. According to the reports, the prime minister dissatisfied with the preparations of team for World Cup 2019. He said that the good team should be well prepared to go for the World Cup. PM Imran Khan also directed to Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani to formulate the model of first class cricket same like Australian model.
PM lauds PCB, security forces for successful PSL4
Earlier, the premier congratulated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), organisers and the security forces for successfully holding the fourth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Pakistan. The prime minister took to his Twitter handle and congratulated Quetta Gladiators, Viv Richards and their manager for winning this year’s PSL. The premier lauded the PCB, all the organizers and security forces for holding a successful PSL ‘extravaganza’ in Pakistan.
Next PSL tournament will be held in Pakistan: PM
PM Khan expressed optimism that next PSL tournament will be held in Pakistan. He lauded the role of security agencies for their sacrifices to make Pakistan a secure and peaceful country. He also assured that all the matches of next PSL will be held in Pakistan.
