PM, FM’s sons watches Pakistan, South Africa match at Lord’s

LONDON (92 News) – The sons of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi are being watched the World Cup match between Pakistan and South Africa at Lord’s stadium on Sunday. Suleman Khan and Zain Qureshi reached Lord’s stadium to watch Pakistan cricket team. Suleman Khan was standing with a group of people and shied away from responding to any questions. Earlier, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa arrived at the Lord’s cricket ground on Sunday to watch the Pakistan’s match against South Africa in their key World Cup match. British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and Inter-Service Public Relation (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor are also accompanied the army chief to the cricket stadium. Pakistan needed to win all four of their remaining matches, and rely on the outcome of a few other matches, in order to have a shot at making it to the top four. “Looks like a good batting pitch and some grass cover on it,” Sarfaraz said after winning the toss. “We are not thinking about the pressure, just focusing on the game, which is very important for us.”

Pakistan ranks 9 on World Cup points table

Pakistan are currently ranked number nine on the World Cup points table, just above Afghanistan with one win (against England), three losses (against West Indies, Australia and India), and one washout against Sri Lanka. South Africa have very slim chances of making it to the top four after having lost four out of their six matches so far. With one win and one washout in addition to the four defeats, the Proteas are one spot above Pakistan at number eight.
