PM forms committee to probe into statements of Imran Khan, KP CM regarding use of force and weapons

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has formed a committee to probe into the statements of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and PTI chairman Imran Khan regarding use of force and presence of weapons with the workers, respectively.

The decision was made during a meeting of the federal cabinet on Tuesday. Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah will head the committee.

Briefing the cabinet, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the PTI narrative was not political, but an attack on the state. "Armed groups were sent to the KP House and buildings run by the KP government. Such illegal acts come under rebellion."

He said that they had directed the police not to allow the weapons in the hand of any worker.

The cabinet congratulated the people for rejecting those creating anarchy in the country.
