ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Awami Muslim League chairman Sheikh Rasheed has said that the prime minister hardly has 10 days to appoint a new finance minister. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, he said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank have refused to accept Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. “Pakistan is facing an economic earthquake,” he said. The AML chief said that the LNG corruption scandal is of Rs 200 billion. “The Hudaibiya Papers Mills case is the mother of thieves, while the LNG scam is the maternal grandmother of thieves.” He said that it was right of 200 million to get the LNG documents. “These documents are a source of destruction of the nation,” he said. The AML chief said that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi thought that no one can touch the documents. He called for the trials of all named in the Panama Leaks. “The Army wants continuity of democracy,” he said. Sheikh Rasheed disclosed that the government made him calls over the Khatm-i-Nabuwwat issue.
