PM has approved Wage Board Award: Firdous Ashiq Awan

LAHORE (92 News) – Special Assistant to Priem Minister’s on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that the government decided to issue the Wage Board Award and Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved it. Speaking to the journalists in Lahore, the special assistant said, “It is being given impression the conflict between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the journalists. She also congratulated Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, saying that the members of provincial assembly expressed confidence on the chief minister. She termed that the government feels the pain of the journalists, adding, “I am trying to making contacts and relation with the media persons. The premier especially sent to me Lahore for meeting with the journalists.” He clarified that the government will fulfill the justified demands of the media persons. “We accept media as the fourth pillars of the democracy,” he added. “The differences between leaders are internal matter of the party, all will be settled within party through negotiation,” she said, adding that the opposition will not create conspiracy and politicize on these matters. She explained that the reports, about difference between the PTI leadership, are baseless. “Prime Minister has constitutional rights to change batting order of his team [cabinet members]. The country is facing international challenges on economic basis. However, the premier directed economic team to make public-friendly budget,” she further said. She said that Asad Umar would soon rejoin the cabinet.
