PM heads meeting over Quetta attack, expresses anger over non-implementation of NAP

QUETTA (92 News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif headed a meeting a Governor House Quetta over the Quetta carnage that claimed the lives of 62 cadets. The meeting reviewed law and order situation after terrorist attack on Police Training Centre (PTC) in Quetta. During the meeting, various aspects of the deadly terrorists attack on PTC were discussed. The participants of the meeting discussed the prevailing law and order situation in Balochistan especially in provincial metropolis Quetta. The prime minister expressed anger over the non-implementation of 'Safe City' project and non-implementation of National Action Plan. He also slammed the provincial officers for not taking measures despite intelligence information regarding terrorism in Balochistan. Among others, the meeting was attended by Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Interior Minister Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif. Inter-Services Public Relations Director General Asim Salim Bajwa and Director General Military Operations also participated in the meeting.
