PM Imran Khan announces to take all stakeholders into confidence over new census

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to take all stakeholders into confidence over the new census.

During a meeting with the MQM delegation on Wednesday, he said that the institutions are free during the present government. "The electronic voting machine will bring transparency in the electoral process," he added.

He stressed the need for imparting awareness about positive effects of the machine.

Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Ameenul Haq, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Senator Faisal Sabazwari and Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar were also present.

The MQM delegation exchanged their views about census and ongoing uplift projects in Sindh. The participants lauded the projects of public transport and infrastructure launched by the federal government in Karachi.
