PM Imran Khan approves domestic and school cricket framework
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday approved the framework of domestic and school cricket in the country.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed on domestic cricket. The briefing focused on school cricket. Chairman Central Punjab Cricket Association Abdullah Khan Sanbal briefed the prime minister about the domestic cricket.
Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the model developed by the CPCA, an organization working under the PCB.
According to the statement, the prime minister assured his full support in the School Cricket Championship starting from September 15 in Central Punjab. He said that school cricket has immense potential to create and develop real cricket talent.
The meeting was attended by Dr Fehmida Mirza and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Dr Shahbaz Gill. Pakistan Cricket Board CEO Wasim Khan and CPCA CEO Khurram Niazi were also present in the meeting.
