ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the people to hold the government accountable after three months. Talking to senior journalists on Friday, he urged the media to help the government in collecting money from overseas Pakistanis. “The people will cry when we will hold them accountable,” he said. To a question about the selection of a bureaucracy team, said that his team would work as per his vision. “Please tell me if any minister is involved in corruption,” he added. However, he refused to comment on involvement of his ministers in corruption. He said that the government will not start big projects. “We will work on human development,” he added. About the Pakpattan DPO transfer, Imran Khan said that he is following the model of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here. “I did not intervene in the matter and asked the principal secretary to get a briefing from the IGP Punjab in this regard,” he said. To another question about the helicopter, he said that he had used the helicopter to save the people from inconvenience. During the meeting, it was revealed that Prime Minister Imran Khan did not know that the Supreme Court had taken suo motu notice of the Pakpattan DPO. Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Ch were also present.
