ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed about the 'Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye' initiative on Friday.

The officers told the prime minister that earlier food was distributed in five cities under the programme and now it would be distributed in seven cities through 16 trucks. "In October, the programme will be extended to 29 cities through 40 trucks," they added.

Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that no compromise would be made on the quality of food in shelter homes. "The quality of the things available at the shelter homes will be checked," he added.

The program 'Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye' is a step toward making Pakistan a welfare state in true sense. Under this initiative, around 40, 000 people will be provided free of cost meals daily.
