ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan briefed the federal cabinet about the Karachi transformation plan. Addressing the cabinet on Tuesday, the prime minister said that he was going to Karachi in a couple of days. "We will resolve all problems, including transport and sewerage," he added. He said that the federal government's top priority will be clearing of drains, sewerage, solid waste management and provision of clean drinking water. The prime minister lauded the authorities for timely taking steps for protection against flood in Nullah Lai. "The chief minister had himself reviewed the arrangements in this regard," he added.
Outsourcing of big airports
Meanwhile, the federal cabinet determined the time to outsource big airports. Approval in this regard will be granted in the next meeting of the cabinet. It also approved the nomination of Pakistan Petroleum Limited's Board of Directors. The meeting also approved the construction of multi-storey buildings in big cities. The cabinet appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan for not increasing the petroleum prices. "A big consignment of wheat has reached Pakistan and will be distributed across the country," said the prime minister. During the meeting, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Amin Aslam briefed the cabinet about unusual rains in Karachi. He said that more rains are expected in Karachi.
