ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has hinted at more reshuffle in the federal cabinet in the coming days. In a meeting with senior journalists on Friday, he said that he had decided not to give the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to any person despite pressure. “According to the intelligence report, some people in the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) had received money from abroad,” he said. The prime minister said that former finance minister Asad Umar was a precious asset of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and he would rejoin the federal cabinet soon. To a question about inclusion of unelected people in the cabinet, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that they have to show the performance. “It does not matter whether someone is an elected person or not,” he maintained. “I am utilizing the experienced people.” The prime minister said that the country was at this stage as merit was violated. “The new laws will provide quick and cheap justice. I am introducing technical teams where experienced people are not available,” he said. He announced that he would appoint the good people no matter from where they are received. Imran Khan said that the government would consult the opposition during the legislation for the welfare of the people. He said that important legislation is being made for the progress of the women. “I will attend the National Assembly session on Monday.” The prime minister said that the opposition was pressurizing the government for the NRO. “No one will be given the NRO,” he said. He said that the government believes in the independence of courts and the NAB. “The government is not being pressurized to get the decisions of the choice like the rulers of the past,” he added.
