PM Imran Khan directs armed forces to continue vigilance: NSC declaration

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) at Prime Minister’s Office on Wednesday. The committee discussed situation arising out of unilateral and illegal actions by the Indian government as well as situation inside Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and along the Line of Control (LOC). According to the declaration announced after the National Security Committee, Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the armed forces to continue vigilence. The forum also decided to observe August 15 as black day. The committee decided to downgrade diplomatic relations with India, suspend bilateral trade with India, review bilateral arrangements, take the matter to the United Nations, including the Security Council and observe 14th of August in solidarity with brave Kashmiris. The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Interior Minister, Minister for Education, Minister for Human Rights, Minister for KA&GB, Law Minister, Adviser Finance, CJCSC, COAS, CAS, CNS, SAPM on Information, DG-ISI, DG-ISPR, Secretary Foreign Affairs and other senior officers.
