ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the opposition demands a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), but the government will not give it at any cost. Addressing a meeting of the parliamentary committee on Thursday, he said that the government would not surrender to blackmailing. "The PTI has not desisted from its manifesto. There will be destruction if we desisted from our manifesto. Had the opposition not supported the approval of the bills, we would have got approved them from the joint session," he said. The prime minister directed the members to give a tough time to the opposition. "Legislation about the FATF was mandatory for Pakistan. We are rectifying the malfunctioning of the past," he said. Imran Khan directed the assembly members to be fully active in the House.
