President Arif Alvi, PM Imran Khan express grief over loss of precious lives in Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – President Dr Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan have expressed grief over the loss of precious lives in the Lahore blast.

Prime Minister Imran Khan directed the best medical treatment to the injured. He also sought a report from the Punjab government.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has also expressed grief and sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the Lahore blast. "Targeting of innocent boy and the poor people is highly commendable. We share heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families. After Islamabad, terrorism in Lahore is not a good omen," he added.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that the blast in the busiest and crowded area of Anarkali is highly condemnable. She prayed for the departed soul and recovery of the injured.

Condemning the Lahore blast, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto shared sympathies with the bereaved families. He demanded that the Punjab government should immediately make the best arrangements for the treatment of the injured.

On the other hand, former president Asif Ali Zardari condemned the Lahore blast. He said that the government should bring the terrorists and planners to justice.
