PM Imran Khan expresses grief over sad demise of comedy king Umar Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed profound grief over the sad demise of comedy king Umar Sharif.

In a statement on Saturday, he said that Umar Sharif possessed innumerable qualities and had a unique status in showbiz.

"His services for showbiz will be remembered for a long period," he added.

PM Imran Khan prayed for the departed soul and condoled with the bereaved family.

Earlier, Legend comedian Umar Sharif passed away in a hospital in Germany on Saturday. He was 66.

Umar Sharif was suffering from multiple diseases, including heart and kidney. He was shifted to America by air ambulance from Karachi. He was later shifted to a hospital in Germany after his condition deteriorated. He was treated for four days there. He also underwent dialysis in hospital.
