ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed the resolve not to backtrack from accountability at any cost. Addressing a meeting of the Media Strategy Committee on Monday, he said that the reaction to the NAB ordinance is before everyone. “The corrupt will have to pay the price,” he said. The prime minister said that the government will have to take steps throughout the year to take the results of the betterment of economy to the masses. Imran Khan also directed to take the federal cabinet into confidence over the NAB Amendment Ordinance. The meeting also reviewed the reaction to the NAB Amendment Ordinance. However, the federal ministers complained about the NAB Amendment Ordinance. They demanded that the cabinet should be taken into confidence before the legislation. Babar Awan, Murad Saeed, Faisal Javed, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Moeed Yousaf and Shafqat Mahmood participated in the meeting.
