PM Imran Khan forms three committees to remove reservations of allies

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan formed three committees to remove the reservations and apprehensions of the allies on Thursday. In particular, the meeting discussed in detail the process of PTI’s engagement with its allies. Prime Minister Imran Khan felt that this process needed to be strengthened and formalized so that there were no gaps in communication between all the allies forming the government. A committee comprising of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Asad Umar, Haleem Adil and Firdous Ashiq Awan will remove the reservations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA). For Punjab, Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Shafqat Mahmood will work to remove the reservations of allies. A committee consisting of Pervaiz Khattak, Qasim Suri and Mir Khan Muhammad Jamali will interact with the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and Jamhori Watan Party (JWP). Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan held another meeting to review law and order situation in Islamabad. The Islamabad IGP briefed the meeting about the law and order. The prime minister directed the IGP ensure protection of the poor and take stern steps against criminals and squatters.
