PM Imran Khan, Hamid Karzai discuss situation in Afghanistan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan and Afghan former president Hamid Karzai held a telephonic conversation to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

In a tweet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said that Pakistan's efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan are continuing.

He said that Pakistan is hosting a special conference on the Afghan issue and details in this connection will soon be shared.

Fawad Chaudhry said that high-profile Afghan leadership, including former President Kazai, has been invited to the proposed conference. "We hope that the significant development will kindle new hopes for solution to the problems in Afghanistan," he said.
